Derrick brings significant expertise in global equity markets, having previously served as a portfolio manager at a prominent Canadian bank.
His in-depth knowledge in identifying high-quality investment opportunities across international markets will strengthen our ability to deliver strong, long-term results for our clients.

📌 About Derrick Gut, CFA, CPA, CA
📍 International and Global Equities
Prior to joining Pembroke, Derrick Gut was a portfolio manager at a major Canadian bank, where he focused on Global Small/Mid Cap strategies.
Before that, he was part of an investment team at an independent, value-oriented Canadian investment manager. He also spent nearly five years as a senior analyst for the Mirabaud US Equities Fund, specializing in the consumer and industrial sectors.
Derrick began his career in the assurance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers before transitioning to the sell side at Scotia Capital, where he covered special situations.
In addition to his investment expertise, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Graduate Accountancy program at Concordia University, where he shares his knowledge of finance and accounting.
