Nathan Clarke

Research Associate

Nathan Clarke is a Research Associate at Pembroke Management, where he focuses on the industrial companies as well as companies with acquisition-driven growth strategies. He supports the firm’s research platform across geographies and market cap ranges.

Nathan interned at Pembroke in 2023 and joined full-time in 2024 after earning his Bachelor of Commerce, Finance. During his studies at Concordia University, Nathan served as a fund manager for the Sustainable Investing Practicum, focusing on companies aligned with the net-zero transition. He also served as head tutor for an economics course, leading tutorials and mentoring students.

Nathan’s passion for investing began early, inspired by The Intelligent Investor and its emphasis on value, discipline and the importance of having a margin of safety. He later broadened his perspective by working with angel investors conducting due diligence on Canadian seed-stage startups in emerging technology sectors.

Drawing on exposure to both value and growth investing, Nathan aims to strike a thoughtful balance between growth, quality and valuation to maximize the long-term compounding of shareholder value.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys outdoor activities, including snowboarding and hiking.
