Scott Taylor is a founding partner of Pembroke Management, which opened its doors in 1968. Throughout his distinguished career, he helped shape Pembroke’s enduring commitment to high-conviction, growth-oriented investing and long-term alignment with clients. As Chair Emeritus, he continues to provide insight and guidance to the firm’s leadership.

Before co-founding Pembroke, Scott held senior investment roles, including as Principal in the Investment Portfolio Division at Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. He holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from McGill University and pursued postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom under an Athlone Fellowship. This academic foundation informed his disciplined, research-driven approach to investing.

As one of the firm’s original architects, Scott’s legacy is deeply embedded in Pembroke’s culture of analytical rigour, aligned interests, and principled leadership.
