This fall, Pembroke is celebrating the 55th anniversary of its founding in 1968. A great deal has changed since then, and it is worth reflecting on what the world was like when Pembroke first opened its doors. The year 1968 saw pivotal moments, such as the first humans orbiting the moon in Apollo 8, the election of Richard Nixon to the White House and the Beatles releasing the “White Album.”

Amidst the political, cultural and economic shifts that marked the next decades, Pembroke has maintained a consistent approach to investing and creating wealth for its clients. Through bull markets and bear markets, our central mission has been to find attractive opportunities to invest in well-managed growth companies.

Over 55 years, a great many people have contributed to the success of the firm. First and foremost, we would like to thank our clients for the confidence that they have placed in us and for their willingness to invest with Pembroke over the long term. We also recognize the tremendous contribution of all members of the Pembroke team, both past and present, who combine their experience, their hard work and their passion to serve the investment and wealth management needs of our clients.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to our clients, our employees, and the values that have defined our journey: integrity, excellence, accountability, humility and alignment.
