Appointment of New Managing Partner, Nicolas Chevalier

    Pembroke Management is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2024, Nicolas Chevalier will assume the role of Managing Partner.

    Nicolas Chevalier, CFA, MBA, IAS.A., joined the firm in 1997 and has a deep understanding of Pembroke’s core values and investment principles. As a long-standing Portfolio Manager, Director and member of the Management Committee, Nicolas Chevalier has the experience and insight to lead the firm into the future.

    Jeff Tory, CFA, the Chair of Pembroke Management, commented, “Nicolas Chevalier’s appointment as Managing Partner reflects our commitment to continuity and excellence and his knowledge of the firm and its clients makes him well suited for this leadership position.”

    Ian Aitken, M.S.C., CFA, who held the position of Managing Partner for 23 years, will assume the role of Vice Chair while continuing as a Partner and Director of the firm. Ian’s transition to Vice Chair ensures the continuity of leadership that our clients have come to rely upon. His long-standing commitment has been integral to Pembroke Management’s success over many years.

    Pembroke is a multi-generational firm, and this long-planned succession signals our commitment to serving our clients for many years to come. Nicolas Chevalier will be fourth Partner to lead Pembroke since it was founded in 1968. The firm looks forward to a seamless transition under his leadership, as well as the continued contributions of Ian Aitken.
