A Word from the Pembroke Team

As we noted in the introduction to the previous issue of Perspectives, over the past few quarters, we felt that our quarterly newsletter was becoming too long.
Today, we are launching the first mid-quarter issue of Perspectives. From now on, we will focus on our investment strategies in the end-of-quarter issue, while the mid-quarter issue will contain more general articles, such as our On the Road article and our ESG commentaries.

In addition, in the current issue, you will find a feature article following a meeting with FranklinCovey’s Pamela Fuller on her book The Leader’s Guide to Unconscious Bias. FranklinCovey (“FC”) is one of our portfolio companies.

This issue of Perspectives also introduces a new series of articles on financial planning. For the fourth quarter, this article focuses on financial planning and household debt, a topic that can be sensitive in the current inflationary environment.

We hope you enjoy this rebalancing of Perspectives, and that it strike the balance of providing more content and making it easier to read.
